June 1st: 1533, Anne Boleyn was crowned as Queen of England.
 
June 2nd: 1941, Lou Gehrig, who was 1st baseman for New York Yankees, died of ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) in Riverdale NY at the age of 37.
 
June 3rd: 1911, the song "Come Josephine in My Flying Machine" hits no.1. Many may remember it being used in the film Titanic.
 
June 4th: 1913, Suffragette Emily Davison stepped in front of King George V's horse, Anmer at the Epsom Derby. Her intention was to grab the horse’s bridle, she was trampled by the horse.

June 5th: 1901, Birth of Anastasia Nikolaevna. Born in Saint Petersburg. She was the daughter of last Russian Tsar Nicholas II.

June 6th: 1850, Fashion Designer Levi Strauss made his 1st pair of blue jeans.
 
 
June 7th: 1329, Robert Bruce, King of Scots from 1306 to 1329, died at the age of 53.
