Throwback Thursday!

Throwback Thursday!

This week I'm going back to my childhood!
These Pictures are all of me as a child!

Me when I was Born.

Me and My Cousin Bryan on my Christening Day.
(Aged 3 Months Old.)

The above picture is me aged about 6 months old. This photo was taken at the Coop Department Store, as I won second prize in the Bonnie Baby Competition.

This photo was taken at a professional photo shop called Smiths, which is now unfortunately not there any more.
In this photo I was 3 years old. This was taken after my Black eye incident. (I'll leave that for another day!)

In this Picture I was aged 4 and my Parents dressed me up as Noddy!
I was entering the fancy dress competition at Spittal Gala.

Bucket List!

Bucket List!

Hello there! This in my next five from my Bucket List!

Well, I might as well get straight to it!

6.) Visit Cyprus! My main reason for wanting to visit is not for a holiday or for my love of travelling, but for a family reason! My Grandfather from my Dad's side of the family has a brother buried on the island, my Grandfather never got to visit the grave when he was alive. So this is on my list to honour my Grandfather.

7.) Have my own car! To many this may seem strange, but I have been able to drive for nearly 6 year in June. In all that time, I have never had my own car and since I love to travel, it would be an ideal thing to have!

8.) See the grave of William Shakespeare! This one I have completed! I actually completed this one before I put it on my list! I visited Stratford -upon-Avon back in 2010 with my Parents. On this visit we visited the church where Shakespeare and his family are buried!

Graves of the Shakespeare family (Picture is not mine!)

9.) To Visit New York City! This one was put on my list because many of my favourite TV shows such as Friends, were filmed in the city! Other than seeing the Knicks and Yankees play, there is not much else I'd visit. Except for the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Centre!

10.) Travel to Oz! (Australia, not to see the Wizard I'm afraid!) One of my previous listings is based in Australia, therefore I'd have to visit to do it haha! Anyway, my other reason is again family related! My Older Cousin Lizzie and her Husband moved to Australia over a year ago with their children! So a visit to them is a necessity!

That's it for another week!

Again if you have any bucket list ideas you'd like to share, comment below :)

My London Adventure!

My London Adventure!

Part 2:Camden and The Dungeons!

Hi again! Firstly, This series was going to be fortnightly, as I have so many places to share with you, I have decided to make it weekly!

So this is my second instalment of my adventures in the big city! In this week's post I am taking you to Camden Town!

When I was visiting it was a Sunday! Best day for visiting the market, which is amazing! They have anything and everything you could be wanting to look for! Me and My cousin also found a lovely cake stall with the most beautiful homemade cakes and traybakes, which we just had to try!
You could spend hours there, which we did! but alas we had to move on by 12pm to get to my next destination!

Taken when arriving into the underground station!

On my whole journey, if it wasn't in walking distance I used the underground, which is probably the best and quickest way to get around London! At first I was a bit nervous about using it and getting lost, but after 2 days, I was blending in!

My next destination was to the London Dungeons! For those who know me very well; will know I can't walk past a dungeon ha! So this was on my list!

It wasn't just a scary place to visit, but its also funny and you learn about certain pieces of history as well!

Inside the Dungeons was history starting from Henry the 8th right though to Jack the Ripper!

I think the scariest part of the Dungeons for me was in the pub with a bar maid, where all our party had to stand or sit around the room, by this point I had been split away from my cousin Penny and made to sit at a table in the middle of the room!
The lights then started to flicker and the effects of lightening started too, the maid told us the story of Jack the Ripper! At this point I knew something was gonna jump out from somewhere!
I was right! The lights flickered on fro just a few seconds in time for me to see a man, Jack! Standing in front of me grinning while holding a knife in front of my face! Never in my life have I screamed so loud! (I am also aware, that all actors will not harm you, but that is beside the point ha!)

There are also some fun/funny parts to going around the dungeons, and for me that is rides inside and the photos you can have taken!

Penny & Me on Drop Dead!

Me beheading Penny!

After our time in the dungeons, we thought it best to head off for food before our next destination!

The Dungeons and Sea Life from a distance!

See you in a week's time for my next instalment!

Bye!

Bucket List!

Bucket List!

Hi again everyone! Welcome to my newest series: My bucket list!

Over time I'm going to be posting about my Bucket List that I made and started last year (2014) So far I have 90 things I'd love to do on my list!
The plus side is so far I have achieved 15 out of the 90!

Anyway....each week I'll be posting five off my list and explaining why I have chosen to put them on my list!

 Here goes!

1.) To Climb Arthur's seat in Edinburgh! This one I have completed, I achieved this in July when I competed the race for life with my Mum and my Auntie. I wanted to climb this because of the beautiful views when you reach the top, but also because I wanted to challenge myself.

View of Edinburgh, from Arthur's Seat!

2.) Visit Holyrood Palace! Again this is in Edinburgh, I want to visit the palace so I can finally complete my whole walk of the Royal Mile. I have visited Edinburgh Castle, situated at the top of the Royal Mile, therefore it makes sense to visit the palace at the bottom!

3.) Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge! Again this is something I have chosen to do; to challenge myself physically! As I am terrified of heights, I will need an incentive to complete this! So....I have chosen; when the time comes; to do this climb for charity. By doing this, I will be raising money for a good cause and it will make me push myself more to actually complete it! (When the time comes, the charity will be one I have helped for many years, it will be half for Cancer Research UK and half for Berwick Cancer Care!)

4.)To help elephants in Africa. Elephants are one of my favourite animals and I would like to do something physical to help them, rather than just sending money to help them. I would actually like to give something back to the world!

5.) Visit Switzerland. As most people will know, this was a neutral country during the second world war, therefore I want to visit it. I know they have some of the best cheese and chocolate in the world, but I want to visit for its peace!

That's all for this week!
If you have a bucket list, feel free to comment some of yours below :)
