My London Adventure!

My London Adventure!

Part 15: St James' Park and the Bomber Command Memorial.

This post is very short haha! But I do have a few photos from my trip to the two places.

I passed through St James' park on my way to Buckingham Palace, which was a nice little detour. I saw plenty of Wildlife in the park, from ducks and swans to squirrels.

I also got a pretty good view of the London Eye in the distance too!

It was already on my list of things I wanted to see when visiting London, so I paid a visit and paid my respects at the RAF Bomber Command Memorial.

RAF Bomber Command Memorial.

The Memorial is located on Hyde Park Corner. It was opened on 28th June 2014, by Queen Elizabeth II

The memorial was built to remember the aircrews that sacrificed their lives during the Second World War.

It is dedicated to the 55,573 men from Britain, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Poland and other Commonwealth Countries, as well as all the civilians of all the nations that were killed during air raids.

As I headed out of the park to the nearest underground station I passed a fountain that I thought was pretty.

Thank you for Reading!
